SARASOTA FILMMAKER GUY WARREN WINS NUMEROUS TOP HONORS AT 20TH CRYSTAL REEL AWARDS

• “Best Feature Film Under $1 Million” – Screenplay and Executive Producer, Guy Warren

• “Best Director” – Joseph Parker, who graduated from AW Dreyfoos School of the Arts in Palm Beach County, FL. He also won the Burt Reynolds Award and Scholarship from the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Best Overall Filmmaker Award from the Tartan Rhodes International Film Festival. He now lives in New York City where is an owner of Case de Luz, a post production house and id in negotiations to direct another feature for next year.

• “Best Leading Actor” – Matthew Boylan, who’s been seen in numerous television productions including The Dead Zone, 24, CSI, Without a Trace, Legacy of Fear, Wall of Secrets, Homicide: Life on the Street, and feature films including Species II, Hollow Point, Collector, I’m Not There among others.

• “Best Editor” as well as a Silver for “Leading Actor” – Joseph Halsey, who attended Palm Bay High School in Melbourne, FL and graduated from the Florida School of the Arts in Palatka, FL. He then went on to the Acting Studio in New York City, and has had roles on The Cosby Show, Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, and The Guiding Light.
